Edmonton's Trust Home Comfort
Receives $50,000 Jobber Grant

We have some news to share! Trust Home Comfort has been awarded a $50,000 Jobber Grant. Van Wu is one of nine 2026 recipients Jobber named from home service businesses across the United States and Canada. None of it happens without our crew and the customers who trusted us with their homes. Keep reading to see what the grant is and how we plan to reinvest the grant to help improve our service to you.
What the grant will help fund:
- An additional service and installation vehicle
- Technician hiring
- Technician certifications
- HVAC tools
- Technology upgrades
What Is the
Jobber Grant?
Jobber builds software for home service businesses, and each year its Jobber Grants program recognizes the ones doing excellent work in the trades. The money doesn’t have to be repaid, and winners decide how to spend it. This year Jobber gave out $250,000 across nine businesses, in amounts from $10,000 to $100,000. Applicants go through two rounds of written applications and a final interview before the judging panel makes its picks.

Why Trust Home Comfort
Earned the Grant
Jobber’s judges look at a business’s goals, how it operates, how it would use the money, and what the business gives back to its community. We can’t speak for the panel, but here is what we’re proud of. Our customers have left over 800 Google reviews and a 5.0-star rating, and we don’t take that for granted. Becoming a Costco-authorized HVAC contractor pushed us to build up our team and our processes so we could serve more homeowners without letting quality slip. We also care about the people on our crew. We support apprentices with schooling and mentorship as they grow into certified trades careers and, in time, leadership roles. Our technicians are Alberta-certified or TSSA-licensed, and every one of them is background-checked.
What the Grant Means
for Our Customers
Here’s where the money goes. We’re adding a service and installation vehicle and hiring more technicians, and we’ll cover their certifications. Better tools and technology are part of the plan too. For you, that means more capacity on our end and a shorter wait when you call. We’re also aiming for 1,000 Google reviews, and we plan to earn every one. If you’re thinking about replacing a furnace or adding a cold climate heat pump, check out our Edmonton HVAC services. We’ll handle the installation and look after the system afterwards.
Coverage in
HPAC Magazine
The trade publication HPAC Magazine covered the news, and it was good to see the story shared with the wider industry. You can read HPAC Magazine’s full coverage on their site. Jobber also lists Van Wu and Trust Home Comfort among its 2026 grant recipients.
